Summary
Dark Enchantress’s transformation leaves the beasts and ancients no choice but to collaborate, but it’s rough when pride and resentment are intertwined with their need for aid.
With Silent Salt’s betrayal and the tension already brewing beforehand, the animosity in the air is at an all-time high; so palpable that one could reach out and touch it. And yet, despite his desire to wipe Pure Vanilla Cookie and his aggravating, patronizing concern off the face of Earthbread, Shadow Milk finds himself unable to do anything. Not in his pathetic state.Instead, he’s forced to play nice (as nice as someone like him can possibly be), like a vicious and feral dog pretending to be domesticated lest it get neutralized.

Summary
Vampires faded ages ago.
Well, the belief that they existed did. The last serious legends of them were forgotten decades after the last one was burned alive in the sunlight.
Or so they say. In reality, her grave mistake forced all remaining vampires to go into hiding in the wilderness that no man dared to approach. All the blood spilled over those years, both vampire and human, taught an important lesson to any supernatural.
No matter how powerful you think you are, the hatred of humanity can always bring you down. Your father constantly hammered that into your head before he died.
You never heeded his warnings. Sure, you heard horrible stories of their sins and betrayals, but you had yet to experience it first-hand.
That was until you moved in with Julie Hargreeves, an old friend and Ebott's rising star.
