“Hello Channie,” Minho said teasingly, as if he knew that Chan had been there for long minutes, waiting for some kind of salvation that wouldn’t come. Truthfully, maybe he truly did know. Under his stare and condescending smile, Chan felt bare, as if his struggles had spilled all over the welcome mat for Minho to be able to read them with ease.
“Weren’t you going out tonight?” Chan asked, his mouth numb as he stared back dumbly at the alpha.
“Cancelled the plans."
(Sometimes Chan needs someone to take control out of his hands. Good thing Minho is always ready to take control for himself. )

Summary
In response, Hyunjin’s body tensed against him, and Minho refrained from smirking at Hyunjin’s instinct. The torn urge to fight or submit. “Didn’t I tell you that coming to the club tonight would be a bad idea? That we didn’t need you here for one damn fucking night?” Minho’s free hand found the back of Hyunjin’s dark hair and after threading his fingers into it, he pulled harshly. Hyunjin’s mouth fell open on a gasp, and he snarled.
“It’s not my fault!” Hyunjin snapped back, he took in a shuddering breath. Then he reached for Minho’s chest to grab at his shirt. With a sharp pull, he brought them even closer. “I was fine,” he growled, and Minho knew he couldn’t release his hold on Hyunjin’s hair if he didn’t want teeth in his neck right at this moment.
They couldn’t mate. Chan would be upset if they did. Not the right time.

“If this isn’t my favorite hunter!” Chan said happily as he pressed Minho against the wall, his body slightly too close to him. Chan’s right hand held one of Minho’s arms tightly, while his left held his waist, pushing them together. His smile was sharp, and he didn’t seem to mind the knife drawing a cut into his throat.
“If this isn’t my least favorite vampire,” Minho deadpanned, and out of annoyance, he pushed against the blade, digging deeper into Chan’s skin. A red line slid along the steel, running down his neck.

Summary
“You have no right to choose for me!” Chan growls as he takes a step forward. His wolf presses uncomfortably close to his skin; it wants to come out and force Minho down, it wants to stop this stupid argument.
At that, Minho straightens, baring his teeth. “No?” he scoffs, and glances at Chan’s closing fists with the attention of a predator keeping track of its prey. “You promised me you wouldn’t take that shit again. They fucked you up back then, and they are fucking you up now.”
It’s true, Chan did promise Minho he would never take suppressants again, but that was before his best friend decided to mate with Hyunjin without even talking to him about it.
It was before knowing he had no chance with any of them.
