    Minato abruptly stops laughing. Husband? He’s not married. He was married, once, but he hasn’t been in a relationship in years. Naruto, Shikamaru, and just the very nature of his job keeps him from actually pursuing a relationship. The closest thing that he’s had to a relationship is Shikaku and even then—
