  Summary

Nora was not the prettiest omega. Nor was she the most well-behaved, nor did she come from the finest bloodline. The Willhaven family were the sort of nobles who, during the war, sided with the new royalty only after it became incredibly clear they’d win. Her legacy was less that of a silver spoon, more that of a copper fork. Still more valuable than common breeding stock, but less so than the majority of her peers at the academy.

She had known this for a long time, yet still, she’d never imagined being left high and dry at the collaring ceremony.

  Summary

Chronos did not torture her — physically, that was. But he was Time, and Melinoë’s time moved forward, no matter how much she willed it to cease. Each day, she felt her heat draw closer. Nemesis had sated Melinoë’s every need during her last cycle, though not without her typical snark. This time, though, she would have no one to come to her aid.
