Chuuya did chuck the empty glass. Dazai muttered something incoherent while rubbing his forehead.
“Don’t you fucking listen?!" He yelled, "They want an original story.”
“I really don’t see what you want from me slug.” He slumped against the wall, resting his head on the white background which was slowly fading color.
“Write the play dumbass!” Dazai’s train of thoughts came to a grinding halt.
OR
Dazai writes a play and Chuuya acts in it. And ultimately through the entire production process, problematic parents, and self-loathing; they realize that they might belong together.

Summary
Chuuya's popular at school, widely liked, and Dazai's everything but. People avoid him, fear him, and so do Chuuya's friends – The Sheep, a group of kids he accidentally became the leader of. After one nasty encounter, Chuuya goes to confront Dazai, and only after already beating him up he reluctantly realizes he's not as bad as the rumors paint him.
It's been a year since, and they're not friends, going off Chuuya's claims, but they share a line of connection. The Sheep is not happy about that. Arguments erupt, trust breaks, Chuuya considers murder numerous times, and kids jump off fences – not exactly in that order.
Then, one day Dazai stops coming to school. Later, Chuuya finds out he committed suicide. Weeks pass and just as he starts accepting the new reality he goes back in time a week before Dazai's death. He's left mourning Dazai while seeing and talking to him at school every day, trying to compromise their relationship with The Sheep, and dealing with his own unresolved feelings all at once.

Or: Dazai successfully commited suicide, Chuuya went back in time, and now is on a seven days long mission to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Summary
Two years after Dazai's death, Chuuya is the Boss of the Port Mafia, and things are going as well as anyone can expect. Until they're not.
"What--?" Chuuya manages, the word thick and throaty, too wet, too obvious. He blinks: what he's seeing doesn't change.
"Chuuya-kun, please come in," Mori says, conversationally. "If you could close the door behind him, Dazai-kun."
Chuuya's head whips around; Mori at the desk had been enough of a shock, but Dazai, curled up lazily in an armchair with a book, looking like a petulant housecat as he stands up, still covered in bandages with one eye visible, is enough to make Chuuya feel almost nauseated.
"Chuuya," Dazai says, the word a sing-song and nothing like the monotone way he'd said it when he was the Boss, "come on."

“I’m Sigma. I don’t know my last name,” Sigma says softly, still an underlying firmness to her tone. Her words are slightly slurred… “And.. I do like cats...”
Dazai’s smile gets a little wider, and she shifts into her cat form, quickly hopping into Sigma’s lap. She curls up and looks up at her with wide eyes. “Meeoowww!”
“Wha..” Sigma’s brows furrowed in confusion, staring at the fluffy brown cat, jaw hanging agape. “What?! How.. is she a cat?!…”
