Peter Parker has a bit of a tendency to overthink, if that wasn’t already glaringly obvious. But, this time, he thinks he’s definitely right to be in panic mode right now. Because, it’s going to be his first official ~formal~ dinner with MJ’s (on the surface) really really kind and hospitable, but secretly terrifying (!!!) dads, he’s been planning to give and hopefully surprise MJ with an anniversary/going away gift because they’re going to be graduating and going to different colleges in a month, oh and right, he forgot to mention, it’s MJ’s birthday.
So yeah, he’s going to be sticking to overthinking for now, thank you very much.
But let’s get one thing very clear and out of the way already, falling in love with Michelle Jones is in absolutely no way in hell whatsoever at all, a trial of any sort. It is a genuine privilege that Peter counts his lucky stars every day that he has.
