Summary
“Tell me why I should take you instead, Hollander,” Rozanov ordered. He pronounced every syllable in his last name and purposely drew it out.
"You want silence. Think about the silence that comes from permanently ending a bloodline. Think about the silence that comes after the scream of a mother who has lost her only child. If you want her to suffer the way you have, then let me take her place and let her live with that. Take me instead of her.”
Rozanov appeared to be considering the offer. He angled his head at Shane before speaking, “Shane Hollander, do you want to pay the debt your family owes to me by taking the place of your mother?”
“Yes,” Shane replied without hesitation.
Or: Mob Boss Grigori Rozanov is murdered in a hit and his son Ilya Rozanov seeks vengeance against those who have wronged his family. Revenge will cost Shane Hollander his freedom, his life, and more after he offers to take his mother's place on Rozanov's hit list.

Soap knows that his lieutenant is a private man. A man with demons. He understands that Ghost is some kind of caged animal that needs time to accept that he's not the enemy. That he can be so much more than just his sergeant. He's patient. He'll wait for it. That doesn't mean he won't take the edge off while he waits.

Summary
Sokka, a 27 y/o engineer, is a cynical skeptic who believes that love is merely a choice and not a symmetric blueprint. Meanwhile, the 29 y/o CEO of Azurable, Zuko, who is quite guarded in nature, prevents himself from dreaming of his soulmate to avoid exposing them to his toxic family. But when a high-stakes corporate crisis forces Sokka to consult directly at Zuko’s office, their sharp professional banter quickly softens into something deeper. As the feelings they’ve held for each other begin to stir, and their once dormant vivid dreams begin to bleed over, the two must choose to either keep running or not.
