    Summary

An AU where Reid never joined the FBI, but got roped into consulting for the LA field office while working and teaching at Caltech. Hotch gets his email referred from a fellow agent, and they start to work on cases together -- until they start talking on a regular basis.

Regular becomes frequent, frequent becomes constant. They know nothing about each other, but they don't really mind.

((I apologize again for the delay. This was a hard decision to wait until next year, but it will be for the benefit of the fic. Thank you for your patience and support.))

    Summary

"There were several things in Aaron Hotchner's life that had never made sense to him. He didn't understand why nearly everyone in his family (minus his son Jack) couldn't quite fathom why he felt drawn to the BAU. He didn't get how so many people in the world had such depraved mindsets. And he wasn't entirely sure why he still hadn't drug-tested his team's tech analyst, Penelope Garcia. (He was also confused about her relationship with Derek Morgan, but he wasn't going to touch that with a ten foot pole.)

But what baffled Hotch the most was how someone who was as intelligent as Spencer Reid could be so inherently oblivious."

Written for the prompt: I've seen a lot of oblivious!Hotch fic, but how about Reid being oblivious of his own feelings for Hotch? Hotch is aware, and reciprocates. Fluffy journey of realization maybe? Bonus for Garcia being helpful.

    Summary

Tom Hayward is sent up to Kent by his friend Darcy as a representative for the reading of the late Lady Catherine de Bourgh's will.

What he does not know is the absolute chaos he is about to step into at Rosings Park, a circus clearly held together by the sheer force of the estate manager, Mary Bennet.

    Modern AU.

    Summary

When embarking on their anonymous email experiment, The Rules that TinternAbbeys and MrsMacaulayKnowsAll had set up were very clear:

    1. No personally identifying information of any kind
    2. No looking the other person up at all
    3. No texts/calls/meeting in person
    4. These messages are a way to reclaim a dying form of communication, so at least try to keep to some level of etiquette - it’s the correspondence that’s the point!

Rule number four is easy to follow. The other three, less so…especially after Tom Hayward and Mary Bennet meet for (what they think is) the very first time.

A modern AU loosely inspired by the film You’ve Got Mail.

    Summary

There are men turning up dead in the woods, and Chief of Police Charlie Swan has a job to do—figure out what, or who, left the poor bastards torn up as they are. Chief of Police Charlie Swan is too old for this mess. Too old and too sick of this shit to pretend Forks is just a sleepy old rural town anymore. Between the gruesome corpses and the quiet, unsettling doctor Cullen who shows up like a statue in pressed slacks, lying through his teeth, Charlie’s got more questions than answers—and no one seems too keen on giving him either.

Charlie’s trying not to notice how his breath catches when the doc gets too close. He’s also trying not to notice how the bodies keep piling up, unsolved. Neither effort is going particularly well.

And if one more person tells him it was a bear, he’s going to shoot something. Probably not a bear.
