Summary
“I couldn’t sleep” Annabeth blurts out with a bit of a chuckle. Although she doesn't really know what she finds funny.
“Wise Girl” he says in a groggy voice with a smile. Annabeth can tell he's relieved to see her. She can only assume he's been plagued with the same nightmares she has.
He's sitting up now and invites Annabeth to get closer so they can converse within the warmth of his covers. Although Annabeth does have to admit, she doesn't really mind the cold, she just wants to be in Percy's arms. She wants to talk about so much with him, but she doesn't know where to start.
Annabeth and Percy have just gotten back to camp after fighting Gaea and surviving Tartarus and the couple desperately want to enjoy their last summer before heading to New Rome for University. They want the regular teenage experience (yk without monsters and Gods interrupting) Percabeth just wants some time to explore their relationship and savor their last summer at camp half-blood.
[This fic is loosely based on the album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love by Olivia Rodrigo, the story is in chronological order and each chapter will be dedicated to a song but there are noticeable differences.]
