Thus, it was official. Emily Charlton hated the hospital, but she hated Andrea Sachs even more. The anger (and hurt, though she shoved it down and masked it by ripping once more into the bread she'd been given) coursed through her body, down to the tips of her toes, both in-cast and out.
She decided, then and there, that Andrea Sachs would never hear the end of this betrayal and Emily Charlton would get her due revenge. She slumped back against the pillows, glaring out at the street view of East 77th and Park Avenue, and did what she does best: got to work.

Nat can’t put her finger on exactly when Lottie went from Charlotte Matthews, #5 to Lottie, and she certainly can’t remember a time when she wasn’t hopelessly infatuated with her.
It could’ve started freshman year, when they’d been peering at the varsity soccer team list and Lottie had grinned and congratulated Nat on making the team.
