    And he can’t even do that. Eiji doesn’t smoke. Smoking kills.

    Eiji waits, as he feels he knows nothing else.

    Pulled the aired out of my lungs; with gorgeous prose and atmospheric scenes. Explores Eiji's loneliness and feelings of uselessness, taps into Ash's desperation to protect and keep. This work portrayed the unique intimacy between them perfectly. One of my most favorite fan works of Banana Fish, or of any fandom I am in ever. My first bookmark ever.
