God, his scent is so strong.
Yet, it's not cloying in the way some unmasked omegas’ scents can be, sometimes, but undeniably intoxicating nevertheless. Powerful enough to cut through roasted espresso beans and steamed milk, rich enough to find Hyunjin from across a table without its owner making the slightest effort, because he's really not.
Hyunjin had never smelled an omega like this before.
Not one that carried themselves with such confidence, or whose scent felt so... grounded?
He looks up again.
The stranger doesn't seem aware of the effect he's having, not at all. He simply rubs a tired hand over his face after his drink is done for good, and opens his laptop, the frustrated crease between his brows deepening as if whatever is on the screen is far more important than the people around him.
Hyunjin stares a second too long.
An omega.
He would've bet every cent in his bank account that the man was an alpha.

Summary

Summary
Hyunjin smiles. He is all soft cheeks and scrunched nose, beaming in the afternoon sun basking in the garage. Minho wants to reach out. Hold the other’s face and smile as brightly as him. Maybe even press their foreheads together.
“Look who brought ice cream!” Chan’s voice suddenly exclaims.
Minho’s attention is ripped away from Hyunjin. He wipes the drops of sweat tickling his neck and shakes away the silly image of his forehead pressed against his friend’s.
The heat is most likely starting to get to my head, he reasons.
or, in the haze of summer, Minho gets confused about his feelings for Hyunjin.
