Summary
It's 1968, and the latest hires for the RED mercenary team arrive at the New Mexico base one by one. Some of them are straight-up crazy, while others seem more grounded. Some are serious, some are aloof. One of them is angry.
The new Scout, a young man from Boston, is guarded, gloomy, and has a deceptively short fuse. What the hell happened to this kid? And how can his new teammates get through to him? Each of them try, in their own way, to make Scout feel like part of the team.

Smissmas 1979. It was the first time in years that all former members of the RED mercenary team would get together again. Jeremy was beyond happy to see his old teammates. Even if it meant wrangling both his own hyperactive and Soldier’s borderline feral kids all night. Even if it meant having to listen to Medic’s unhinged rambling and Demo’s drunken blabbering.
Even if it meant seeing him again.
It had been seven years, anyway. Jeremy was over it by now, right?

Summary
Monsters are becoming increasingly rare. Between getting pushed to the periphery of society or being targeted by traffickers, life is hard when you are not (entirely) human. Like many others, Scout tries to keep his true form a secret. It has never really been a problem. That is, until a nosy teammate catches him mid-swim.
