Summary
It's a Thursday evening, at the end of a 24-hour shift, and Eddie is in the bathroom at the house brushing his teeth when Buck leans in the doorway behind him and says, "I'm going to take a shower."
It's such an ordinary thing to say–Buck says it five times a week, minimum–except that Eddie's brain snags on the tik tok video from a few days ago, and his mouth moves before he thinks better of it.
"Information or invitation?"
He says it in the exact tone of someone delivering a punchline, light and a little teasing, clearly expecting Buck to groan at the callback and go shower alone. It is a joke. It is absolutely, entirely a joke, and the correct response from Buck would be a tired chuckle.
Buck doesn't laugh.
He meets Eddie's eyes in the mirror, something shifting behind his face, and says, "Invitation."There is a silence.
It's the kind of silence that Eddie can feel on his skin, that is doing something specific to the air between them, and he watches his own face in the mirror very carefully and does not turn around.

“It’s okay,” Buck rushes to say, eyes like saucers as he sits up, ignoring the heat in his gut. “It—it’s natural. It happens. I just woke up.” He isn’t sure why he tacks on the lie at the end, but no matter the reason, it doesn’t seem to quell Eddie’s embarrassment.
“Oh my god, I was humping your bed,” Eddie mumbles in horror. “Beside you. Like—like some dog.”
A cat, Buck’s brain supplies unhelpfully.
Or, a few drinks lead to a noisy dream and feelings revealed, and Buck has to pinch himself to make sure he's awake.

Summary
A familiar voice and face send a wave of cold shock down his body as the next video starts, his eyes widening as he stares at Buck on his screen. ‘Baking While Baked’ is plastered in bold letters across the top of his video, confusion seeping into Eddie’s face.
“Hello, everybody. Welcome back to another video where I bake while being baked,” Buck winks, a sly smile sinking into his cheeks. His eyes are droopy, half-lidded, and red; his cheeks are flushed with a tint of pink, starting to spread across his nose and down his chin. His words come out slow, like honey dripping off his tongue.
“I’m going to try doing ASMR, but the keyword here is try,” a soothing, deep chuckle rumbles through Buck’s chest, spreading warmth over Eddie’s body.
Or where Buck posts videos on tiktok where he bakes while being baked. Eddie stumbles across them and ends up smoking with Buck and being a new addition to the videos. What happens when Eddie realizes something about himself that could put their relationship at risk?
