Dio directs Pucci's attention to the corner of the room, where someone is pulled tight into a ball. He's naked and drenched in blood, his chest rising and falling with the speed of a wounded animal, "I must go at once, before I can finish tending to him. You have a kind and gentle nature, Enrico. I trust you can bring him the comfort he needs."
He has questions crowding at the edges of his mind - what kind of comfort? Who is this boy? What happened? But if Dio could answer them, Pucci knows he would. He just nods, speaks "Of course" and is rewarded with a gentle kiss pressed to the Pucci's head. Then Dio is off, leaving Pucci alone in the room with the naked boy.
