Summary
You were seventeen, all tight braids and red-red lipstick, when you met Sam Winchester. You lusted instead of loved, broke hearts instead of mending them, and tended to leave a trail of bodies in your wake.
Sammy changed all of that.
When he stumbled into your small-town high school from a glorious black Impala, your entire life turned for the better. He quickly became your best friend, your other half, staying up until three a.m. with you talking about the sun and the stars and nothing at all.

Summary
Every Boston Raider knows that although their captain has a girl in every port, he’s got a soft spot for the one in Montreal. Dr. Shane Hollander knows it’s better to have a semi-regular source of casual sex than try to make a relationship work during residency. Ilya Rozanov knows that the doctor he’s fucking in Montreal is unaware that he plays hockey, and in fact probably thinks he’s Bratva.

“Yeah,” Chim said. “Yeah, Maddie’ll be glad to see you. Where’ve you been lately?”
“Yeah,” Eddie said. His tone was pointed. “Been wondering that myself.”
“Oh,” Buck said. “You know.”
“I don’t,” Eddie said. “Actually.”
“At my new place, mostly,” Buck said. Eddie raised his eyebrows.

Summary
Buck takes it to the grave.
He doesn’t mean to. It’s just—with all that time he spent teasing death, all the motorcycles and factory fires and blood-coated grenades—death gets impatient, in the end. Right as he’s starting to take life seriously. After he puts his name on the lease, buys life a ring, like, I’m in this for the long haul. Death gets jealous, and Buck falls through a second-story floor onto a derelict wrought-iron stair rail, and his femoral artery begins the quick but methodical work of leaking out the next fifty or sixty years of his life onto the charred tile floor.Bookmarked by psychicbees

Maxwell stares, unseeing, ahead of him. “You have…a lot of faith in me, Miss MacLeod,” he says finally. “It is appreciated.”
Olethra still does not touch his chest.
(Love is intangible.)

or: Maxwell and his affinity for tangible things means that love is hardly ever supposed to be part of the equation.
