    By some miracle, Shiro wakes up after being possessed by Satan and finds himself alive- sore, missing a few fingers, but alive.

    The only one who knows what happened that night is Rin himself, and he wants to take Rin's word for it when his son says that Satan abandoned his body to save it for later. However, the threads of Rin's tale are quickly unraveling, and people are becoming more suspicious. There's something not making sense about Shiro's survival, about the Kurikara, the truth of the night he was possessed. The forces of Gehenna and Assiah alike are demanding answers, and when their damning fingers turn to Rin himself, the lies begin falling apart to reveal something far darker underneath.
