Summary
When the realization strikes him that Cater’s been pulling most of the weight when it comes to their relationship, Idia knows that he’s gonna need to work hard if he wants to keep his title of “Top-Tier Boyfriend.” His plan in actually doing that? Indulge Cater’s interests, for once, to rack up the maximum number of “boyfriend points,” obviously.
Of course, said plan becomes way harder than it needs to be when the person executing it is a socially-inept gamer doomed to fail at, like, everything.

Summary
The worst possible way to describe summer break would be “boring,” and unfortunately, that’s exactly how Cater would describe his. Two months before he’s supposed to start life at NRC, and he’s stuck on the dullest beach vacation of all time, with only his sisters and his parents for company.
That is, until he meets Idia, a snarky and introverted teenager with a permanent, yet somehow adorable, scowl. Summer goes by all too quickly with him at his side, and Cater does his best to make the most of every moment the two of them have together. It’s a touching sentiment, especially since neither he nor Idia seem to realize that they’re going to the exact same place once summer’s over …

Summary
Because the universe is just that cruel, Idia is somehow stuck at a Scarabia holiday party. He’s unbelievably desperate to go back to his dorm; however, there are two teensy-weensy, little, tiny problems:
- If he’s the first person to leave, he’s gonna attract a buncha attention, and he’s so not down for that.
- There’s a sprig of mistletoe right by the door, and the only pleb at this party that he’s interested in kissing is Cater Diamond, who, BTW, he has a major crush on. (It’s unrequited. Probably. ‘Cause why would Cater ever reciprocate and have a crush on him back?)
Idia has spent most of his life believing that he’s Number One on the Fates’ hit list, but maybe this holiday season, he’ll actually be able to successfully solve both his problems at once.
