Summary
Every time Armand and Lestat sleep together, Armand asks Lestat when he will tell Nicki about them.
“Are you going to tell Nicolas about us?”
Lestat takes Armand’s chin in his hand, turns his head away, and pushes Armand back down onto the desk.
“What is us?”
Because this fic has become multi-chapter, Lesmand is explored more in depth and they discuss their pasts and traumas.
Armand can’t look Lestat in the eye. His voice is unusually small when he asks, “Does my past change how you see me? Do you think after my history there is anything left of me to see, Lestat? Do you think I’m rotten?”
A sudden tingling on the back of his neck stirs something irrationally protective inside of Lestat. He slides a warm hand against Armand’s cheek, wiping away ruby red tears.
“You aren’t rotten.”

Summary
Nicolas struggles to prepare for an upcoming performance. Armand helps him, and they help each other get ready for the show. They tie bows in each other's hair using those pretty silk ribbons.
“Can I return the favor?” Nicolas motions to Armand’s hair, his curls loose and flowing past his shoulders. Armand stares at him, and Nicolas tries not to take the distance in his eyes personally. He takes a chance, and leans in close to Armand’s face, “If you prefer, we can put this tenderness behind us and continue to antagonize each other.” Nicolas raises a brow and his eyes gleam with something playful.
Armand smirks.

Summary
Armand prefers to operate from the shadows. When Lestat dedicates a diss track to him, Armand relives the times he was thrust into the spotlight. None of them are good memories.
Armand is vaguely aware of the crowd repeating Lestat’s song. Are they applauding? Do they like the noises he makes? Is he posing in the correct position? He cannot tell if he is in Marius’ drawing room, a theatre, or concert hall. Perhaps he was a doll, once. When the slaver flipped him over, front to back, inspecting him for lice and disease.

Summary
Armand and Daniel's relationship continues into the 1980s in San Francisco. They are lovers after Daniel marries Alice and after he becomes a father. When Alice is out of town, Armand stays over to help Daniel with Kate and baby Lenora. They have moments of domestic bliss, but Daniel is desperately addicted to Armand's blood.
Decades later in Dubai, Daniel finds something unsettlingly familiar and alluring about Rashid.
“You’re the orange crayon.” Kate dumps out a box containing crayons, colored pencils, and fruit scented erasers onto the table. She pulls out a child’s size chair at her play table and looks at Armand with expectant eyes.
“You have to sit down.”
“Do I?” Armand stares down at the precocious seven year old. Kate nods.Armand looks at Kate’s innocent expression. She looks so much like Daniel in her face and mannerisms. And the same adorable head of curls.
