Summary
A little under a standard year after the fall of the Empire, Leia Organa is elected as Supreme Chancellor of the galaxy, in practice for a term of eight years— long enough, the galaxy’s senators deem, for her to shoulder the brunt of the war’s impact. Long enough for new laws to be drafted, punishments to be doled out, and humanitarian aid to take effect.
Aside from the galaxy's future on her shoulders, she also has to manage being the birthright to a cosmic power, unsolicited visits from the Force-Ghosts of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, and the slow construction of a new family and a new legacy.
A coming-of-age, in three parts.

Summary
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: Harry has a twin sister, who likes to read and make sure Harry is on top of things (which doesn't work out very well). But when the year starts, they both have their own adventure.
