Summary
Captain Holmes is sent to hunt the pirate Moriarty but finds himself attracted to him, which Moriarty takes full advantage of. As they battle each other across the high seas they develop a strange kind of relationship/friendship as they learn more about each other. But they are mortal enemies and theirs is a dangerous world so their chances of happiness look slim…
OR - I've been writing quite angsty/realistic stuff with this pairing so I thought I'd have a change and do something silly... but this quickly veered off into a dark direction.

Ben snorts out an unexpected laugh, folding his hand around Matt's and shaking it tightly. "I will choose to take that as a compliment."
