Summary
Terrans are not the strongest species in the universe. They are not the fastest species. They are most definitely not the smartest. But Terrans are the loneliest, willing to befriend anything that moves and several things that don't.
After humanity nearly made themselves extinct with a "Terran brand oopsie"™, trillions of Terrans awaken from stasis and set themselves upon a Galaxy teeming with alien life, each writing their own story among the stars. Stories of compassion, of anger, of revenge, of justice. Stories of the clever and stories of the downright stupid.
But mostly the story of Terrans looking for the one thing that all beings desire: Friendship amongst a lonely universe.
A half wholesome, half emotionally scaring, half self improvement writing project, half mathematics fail due to there being too many halves. Originally posted and created for /r/HFY
Why we said yes: The Ghirlinn are an advanced species, but are surprised to find the newcommers to the universe, the Terrans, have managed to form an alliance of over 400 species in a mere 74 years. Zantari goes on a journey, asking each of these species a simple question: Why did you say yes?

Summary
We stumbled across humanity as they began to explore their solar system, strapping themselves to rockets and hurling themselves into space with abandon. We saw Humanity as small and delicate-looking compared to the races spread across the galaxies, and most of us generally believe that humans are incapable of much more than they have accomplished thus far in their history.

Summary
Tommy, after dying at Dream's hands again, wakes up some place new. Not Limbo, because he knew Limbo, he'd been there multiple times at this point, but somewhere new. Somewhere different.
Within the first day in this new place, he meets a nice lady named Clementine. Within the next two days, he decides he wants to stick around. Within his last five minutes on Earth, Tommy's new hopes were broken before they could even really bloom, and it doesn't take long for him to vent his frustrations on the closest being he can get his hands on.
Within a cycle, new rumours about humans - an already powerful, feared and banned species - begin circling the Universe.

A laugh bubbled out of him and he sighed in content, a smile - full of hope for his future - spreading over his face as he closed his eyes for the night. He had a feeling he wouldn’t have a nightmare tonight.

All at once, the high he had been on came crashing down. The giddy feeling in his chest drained away and Tommy felt dread fill him in its place.

“R-Ranboo.” Tommy whined out, voice barely above a whisper. The other teen looked back to him, only separated by a meter or so. “Ranboo, i-it’s not going to hold.”
“Focus on me. Just look at me and it’ll hold.” Ranboo said quickly and Tommy tried. Tried to keep his eyes locked on Ranboo’s. Distantly, he knew that eye contact made the other uncomfortable, but in the moment, duel-colored eyes were the only thing grounding him.
“I’m almost there!” Tubbo called and Tommy looked over, seeing him just a few chunks away from them. Tubbo paused, just a moment as he looked between his two best friends and Tommy’s hearth jumped to his throat. It seemed all of them made the same realization at once.
Tubbo could only get one of them. As soon as one moves, the ice would give.
