“You’re just torturing yourself standing here, forcing yourself to watch when we both know that all you want is to be with him."
His voice goes tender.
"I know you feel like you haven’t earned it,” He says gently, “But please believe me when I say that you don’t have anything to atone for. Not anymore.”
Katsuki blinks, only just beginning to consider it, when Ei’s hand is suddenly on his shoulder, heavy and warm and grounding.
“You’ve paid your dues. Taken your lumps. You don’t have any more penance left to pay. The only thing left is to stop standing here like a doofus and just go do it.”

Summary
Katsuki and Izuku are supposed to be on a nice weekend getaway to the mountains to enjoy the autumn weather. They expect the perfect weekend of hiking, enjoying the fall colors, and maybe, just maybe, getting to confess some pretty deeply-repressed feelings.
Except the tension between them is so thick it could snap, Katsuki finds himself in the clutches of villains, and Izuku is still having a whole complex over not being ready to be a pro hero again. So it looks like the romantic vacation might have to get put on hold.
