Summary
Everything in Nova Ahmed's life has taken time. It took years for her to realize her parents didn't give a shit about her. It took years for her to learn strategy and tactics and how to use a gun. It took years for the delinquents in the skybox to actually trust that she cared about them.
Then she finds out that the only people she can count on in the entire world are being sent on a suicide mission to Earth, and she should be lucky she's not getting floated for eavesdropping on the Council and is instead being sent with the prisoners.
Everything in Nova's life takes time- except when it takes a matter of minutes for it to irreperably change.

Summary
Raven wakes up in a hospital, with no memories at all. She can't remember anything about her life, not her best friends, not her own name, and most certainly not how she got in a car accident.
Murphy doesn't want to remember. He doesn't want to remember that he's the cause for Raven's accident, even if his friends insist he's not. It doesn't matter. He will always live with this, whether Raven starts to remember again or not.
Or, Raven gets amnesia, Murphy blames himself, and they fall in love (whether Murphy wants to or not).

“I can smell how fucking noble you’re being.”
“What?”
Lando looks obscene this close to Oscar, neck bared, heat thick in his scent. He hums a little, then tips his head back down, shuffling back further, removing any millimeter of space between his back and Oscar’s chest. “I can smell how much you want to,” he says.
Oscar feels a bit incredulous. Of course he wants him. He’s choking with need. But he can’t do anything about it. They’ve never even talked about this kind of thing before, let alone been in this incredibly torturous situation before.
“I’m an alpha,” Oscar says desperately in explanation, because surely Lando can’t blame Oscar for wanting him.
(Alternatively: Lando goes into heat after the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, and Oscar is a master of restraint.)
