Summary
The realization hits him as soon as he tips over the edge, coming into Eddie's mouth. He drops his hand as the last of his orgasm ripples through him and watches, eyes wide, as Eddie sits back with Buck's come on his lips. Buck sits frozen. Waiting. The plug still buzzes inside him, getting more and more uncomfortable by the second, but he holds himself still.
"Well," Eddie says, wiping his mouth with a napkin from the dinner table, calm and expressionless, "we have a situation now, don't we?"
Buck comes when he's not supposed to and gets punished.

“You know it’s okay to be exhausted after a shift, right?” Eddie whispers, ducking back into Buck’s line of sight when he tries to look away. “You don’t have to pretend here, you know that.”
Buck makes a choked-off little noise. The kind that Eddie has learned means he’s trying hard not to cry. Eddie releases his grip on his face and pulls him against his chest instead. Buck goes easily. He buries his face in the crook of Eddie’s neck while one of Eddie’s hands comes up to cradle the back of his head the same way he used to cradle Christopher’s before he got “too old for hugs”.
“It’s okay,” he murmurs into Buck’s tousled curls. “I’ve got you.”

“It’s okay,” Eddie waited for Buck to step into his space before tugging him in for a sweet kiss, other arm snaking around his neck. “You ready for our date?”
“I think the better question is if you’re ready for Chris’ date,” Buck laughed a little. “He’s going on a real, proper date. Didn’t even borrow money from you to pay, saved up his allowance.” Eddie grumbled a little and tucked his head into Buck’s neck. He didn’t want to think about it at all.
