Summary
I often think of small what ifs? and what now? Scenarios when watching great movies, so I figure why not collect them at one place: Sofar it's just "Transcendence", but there will be from other movies like "The Land Lawnmower Man" and maybe a fic on "The Species"... that last one I'm not sure but I have plans to write more.

Summary
Zachariah shows Dean The End.
While his visit is temporary, it leaves Dean shaken and wracked with guilt, after he watching his future self send Castiel to his death. Only, Castiel dies willingly for Dean, and apparently it's because of love. Desperate to prevent Cas from meeting a similar fate, Dean decides to save Castiel, making sure he never falls in love with Dean. It should be an easy enough task, because it's not like Cas understands what he's feeling for Dean, and it's not like Dean feels anything more than friendship for Cas. Right?
When what should be a standard case turns out to be something far more powerful, both Dean and Cas are forced to confront their fears and unspoken feelings, which goes about as well as you'd expect.

When Dean’s grief is loud enough to wake him in The Empty, the entity casts Castiel out, but not without a price. He comes to in a barn in Pontiac, Illinois, with no memory of who or what he is. With nothing but an initial on the back of a photograph, and his heart’s instinct telling him to head west, Castiel begins a journey of self-discovery.
Meanwhile, Dean is a broken shell. Rather than live under his brother and Eileen's pitying and concerned gaze, Dean decided it was time to move out of the bunker. With Jody’s help, Dean moves into a small lake house just outside of Sioux Falls, where he can mourn in peace and in his own time. Dean is determined to be better for Cas, even if it’s too little too late.
Little does Dean know that it is never too late, as the Cas in Dean’s dreams is doing everything he can, to find his way back home. -

An encounter with the kind pawn shop owner in Lebanon leads him to take up playing the guitar again to cope with losing Cas, something he hasn't done since he was sixteen and living at Sonny's Boys' Home. This kicks off a series of events which includes Claire arriving at the bunker looking for answers on Cas's death and which ultimately leads to Dean finding himself in possession of Orpheus's original lyre. Armed with the power of music and love and with Claire hot on his heels, Dean sets off on an epic quest to save his beloved from the Empty's clutches, Hadestown-style. Can they defy the power of the narrative one final time, or will Dean succumb like Orpheus before him?
Featuring: copious amounts of Hadestown references, Chekhov's Wonderwall meme, Anaïs Mitchell as an actual Greek Muse, Dean's Teenage Bisexual Awakening, lesbian-ish cosmic entities, Sam as Hermes, Eileen being kind of a menace, Claire being a badass, and more!

Read Later some day.
SAVE it doesn't have big warnings, I checked the ending just on the save side.
Alot of Claire in it, she's important to Savin Castiel in this one.
Only thing to look out for is Daniel, he is an OC that gave Dean a Guitar as a teen, hopefully not a big retcon to Dean's backstory. -
