Summary
Months after the fall of the Absolute, Baldur’s Gate picks up its pieces. During this harsh winter, Rolan observes the comings and goings of the heroine who both saved the city and turned it into rubble, the drow’s favorite pastime becoming his punishment.

Halsin grinned at the fluidity of her nonsense. He found that perhaps the most disarming, ethereal beauties in this world were also the most eccentric; it didn't make anything about her pale, but rather highlighted everything that belonged to that strange world in which the bard reigned supreme.As Halsin helps a group of adventurers, he finds his dormant heart stirring for the party’s leader, a tiefling whose charm has been crafted to perfection from her profession as a courtesan and her bardic skills, and threatens to awake feelings that have stayed unperturbed for the last century.
