Keonho looked up, his dark eyes brimming with a desperate, bitter sorrow. “What was I supposed to say to you, Seonghyeon? How was I supposed to explain any of this?”
“The truth!” Seonghyeon shouted, tears streaming freely down his face now. “You should have told me the truth!”
Keonho let out a harsh, bitter laugh that sounded entirely devoid of joy. “You wouldn't have believed me. Nobody would.”
“Try me,” Seonghyeon challenged, taking a step closer, his chest heaving. “Try me right now.”
