"I know. It doesn't matter. Even if you did, this one is more complicated." As if he's trying to convince Shuuichi he's fine, he smiles, almost lazily. "You should leave. I'll call you when I get out."
"I'm not going anywhere," Shuuichi replies adamantly.
Bourbon goes missing suddenly, so Shuuichi tracks him down, only to find him hiding out underground with a bomb around his neck.

Rei falls into a pensive silence, and turns to focus his attention back on the sea, the night's calm waves gently rocking the ship as they sail onward. "The first time we went out on Hiro's parents' ship, I realized how tiny home felt," he starts when he finally speaks again. "For most of my life, I've felt… Claustrophobic. Trapped. But when I'm out here on the water, it reminds me how vast the sea really is, and how small and comparatively inconsequential I am."
Pirate Captain Shuuichi pines for his newest crewman, who happens to also be his childhood friend that he recently effectively kidnapped.
