Danny was going to scream. For once, (once!) he'd been minding his own business, just trying to get to school, but of course the ancients-damned universe couldn't just let him get one normal day.
So far in the last hour Danny had gotten sucked through a natural portal, freaking mugged like his life was some b rate gangster movie, been thrown through ANOTHER portal, and, to top it all off, he was stuck in a demon trap in the middle of the woods in who knows where with no one else around.
What was his life?
Or: Danny has a very, very bad day. This leads to a worse day, some new people, and eventually, a somewhat better day.

He tuned out the squabbling men across from them to Fucile, leaning in to hear him better. “What’s up, bro?”
“It’s nice to see you smile, a real one I mean, not that crap you put on for the media.” Fucile teased.
He laughed nervously. “I don’t know what you’re talking about, man. I laugh all the time.” He finished off his statement with a patented Ken Sato laugh and a sip of his drink. It didn’t taste as good anymore.
Fucile just hummed in response. He looked amused, leaning away from Kenji so he could see him better. He had a stupid, lazy smirk on his face as he dragged his eyes up and down Kenji’s frame.
Kenji felt distinctly like prey about to be eaten by a predator.
Not taking his eyes off of Kenji, Fucile grabbed his glass off of the table, downing the rest of it in one go. Still smirking, he finally turned away.
“Fine, keep your secrets then, Ken Sato.”
Or: how Kenji makes himself a family, bonds with his daughter, and learns that maybe, just maybe, everything will be okay

She opened her mouth to speak, but hesitated. Closing her mouth, she nodded, "Do it." A pause. "Please.." she added.
The old woman grinned, raising one wrinkled hand. Mulan placed her own hand in the woman's palm. The candle blew out, casting them into sudden darkness. The woman's grin only widened, moonlight glinting off of her teeth as Mulan vision faded. to. black..

In Vegas, after they’d said everything right up to the edge of I love you, Shane and Ilya came up with a plan. It was long term, with many, many steps. There might be a spreadsheet somewhere that Shane won’t admit to.
But it’s a plan, nonetheless. Over the summer of 2014, they tweak it and add things important to the both of them. There are even many, extensive, contingency plans.

Thanks to Shane's small lie the first time they hooked up, Shane and Ilya are together years earlier. Now, they have to figure out what to do about it.

Summary
“Hollander,” suddenly Ilya gasps. He looks so shocked that his head must hurt more than normal. “Did you speed?”
Shane’s cheeks darken, Yuna didn’t think it was possible. Then, her son mutters something almost unintelligible.
“Am tired, Hollander. Please. What was that you said?” Ilya huffs, Shane’s hand still in his.
“I rented a McLaren so it would be fast. It was.”
No one finds out about Shane and Ilya’s relationship during Ilya’s stay at the cottage. However, during Ilya’s final season in Boston, the Raiders’ plane suffers a malfunction on their way to Ottawa, so Shane, who is in NYC for a Metros vs Admirals game, leaves the team behind without telling anyone and drives to Ottawa, renting a ridiculously fast and impossible-to-miss car to get to his boyfriend as soon as possible, not caring about coming out in the process. This decision has several consequences, including nine tickets for speeding.

Summary
1987 went to shit. Vecna brought on what may well be the apocalypse, and Steve fought it to the end. Literally.
Death was supposed to be a one-way street. But knowing a girl with super powers had a tendency to change the game. So when Steve opens his eyes to a beer-soaked bathroom on Halloween in 1984, Nancy calling him 'bullshit' all over again, the universe might forgive Steve for thinking he was either a) in Hell or b) going cracked. But Steve didn't have time to freakout. Not when El finds him and asks that he help her change the events of the future. Not when he's the only other person she managed to drag with her for chance number two.
OR: A time travel fix-it, where 1987 Steve is dropped back into his 1984 self. And now he has to deal with that plus the impending apocalypse on the horizon. But he'll be fine, right? Because, as El informs whoever asks, Steve's 'The Babysitter'. So he gets to work. He can cry later, when he's done.
