Summary
"No killing," Batman warns as Jason grabs his gun, immediately shooting a trafficker's shoulder.
"No promises," he replies, but aims for non-lethal shots anyway.
or
Bruce and Jason end up handcuffed to each other, because I'm cliché like that.

Summary
Word traveled fast in Crime Alley.
It became yet another Alley-kid code word. If someone said they were telling Mama, that meant Jason Todd would get an earful while he planned out his next drug bust. If someone said Mama’s paying for dinner, it meant a free meal to any kid who showed up to the diner that day.
(or: "a toddler who was being saved by the red hood called him "mama" once and now crime alley kids will refer to him as mama all. the. time.")

“…Mistress Cassandra,” Alfred cleared his throat.
She looked back at him with wide, innocent eyes.
“I know you’re aware of the importance this library’s organization has to Master Jason,” Alfred said succinctly. “So I do believe your intentions here are pure, yes?”
Cassandra smiled at him, and nodded. She put a finger to her lips. “Shhh.”

Summary
That was it.
The absolute, final, last damn time.
Dick was going to kill Jason Todd. Slowly. Painfully. With his bare hands if necessary.
As soon as he could catch him.
What starts as a furious rooftop chase through Blüdhaven turns catastrophic when three Justice League members decide to "help" Nightwing apprehend the "dangerous criminal" Red Hood.
One blast of golden energy.
One sickening crunch.
Jason hits the wall and doesn't get up.
And Dick Grayson—the smiling, charming, well-adjusted one—stops smiling.
(Featuring: pudding-related property damage, Jason's concussed Disney princess revelations, three Justice League members who made a terrible mistake, and the rage Dick Grayson has spent years learning to hide.)Series
- Part 5 of The one-shots inside my head
