Summary
“You’ve been watching me,” said Chris. His voice was steady despite his inebriation.
“Yes,” said Zeno mildly.
Chris frowned at him. “Why?”
“Most people are compelled to stare at train wrecks.”
The similarities between his voice and Wesker's seemed to register, because Chris paused and squinted. But it was still too dim here for him to get a good look at Zeno's features.
“Enjoying oneself at the bar is a train wreck now, is it?”
Zeno approaches Chris in a bar. Surprisingly, Chris agrees to accompany him to his hotel room.

Summary
Kennedy's too young to be this jaded. Too smart and too headstrong to be a good soldier. But he's a survivor and he's good at acting the part. Krauser doesn't want to break him; that would not work. He knows how to toe the line, so he will teach Kennedy just that.
Locked behind the closed doors of the Major's office, Leon is down on his knees, struggling with defiance, and is forced to learn obedience through raw physical submission, discovering exactly how far the Major will push him to ensure he stays in line.

Summary
Chris scowled and crossed his arms over his chest, certain he looked absurd. A huge man still in his uniform and gear, sitting in a small chair in a tiny office. His biceps were the size of O’Brian’s computer. “I did what I had to do to get the job done.”
“And that’s all we ever expect,” O’Brian replied. “Regardless, people saw. People took notice. People who decided you’d be the best person to keep Agent Kennedy on a leash and controlled.”“What the fuck is he doing?”
O’Brian paused. “I’m assuming you haven’t heard, then.”
“Heard what?”
“Sherry Birkin is dead.”
