Ricky 30 minutes later stood outside the door again with Gyuvin by the threshold. He had done so much for him and Ricky didn’t know what he could do back, so he offered money.
“No, I already said I don’t want anything. I was the one who made a mistake,”
It’s for my own sake, stupid. But it had already been a long day and Ricky was too tired to argue so he gave in and left the house with a bandaged leg, pants he would have to return at some point and a phone number that belonged to a boy named Gyuvin Kim.
“Sorry!” Gyuvin shouted after him as Ricky left the house and started walking the way Gyuvin had described to him, since he didn’t want to be accompanied home.
“Find a new word!” Ricky shouted back without looking.
“I’ll try, sorry!”
Unbelievable.or; Ricky spends the summer in a small town with his parents and the girl he's supposed to love. Everything seems bothersome about it until Gyuvin, a boy who can't seem to let people take care of themselves, comes along and suddenly Ricky's summer has turned into something different compeletly.
