Summary
Blair is, at the apple-spine core of her, rotten; completely unlovable. So she doesn’t blame Nate, or her mother, or her father, not really. She does not expect anyone to be an exception.
Well, there was Serena, but that is all past tense now.

Summary
Amy has had a lot of great ideas in her lifetime. Telling her cousin she's dating Jake Peralta and he'll definitely be attending her destination wedding is not one of them.
Aka the one where Amy and Jake pretend to date while pretending they're not really madly in love with each other.

Summary
Despite the years of radio silence, he would be lying if he said he did not from time to time think of her, dream of her, even long for her. He had long since accepted that Veronica would always be tattooed across his soul.
But when she’d occupied his thoughts, he never imagined her like this: a tube down her throat; her left eye swollen shut; abrasions and bruises maring her face, neck and arms and her fingernails mangled and bloody. His stomach felt like it was turning itself inside out. As a naval aviator, he had seen his fair share of horror, death and other unspeakable things; he had even been responsible for it, under orders.
But this, this was different. Nothing, not his training, not even the abuse he endured at the hands of his own father, could have prepared him for seeing her like this.

Don't you mess with a little girl's dreams. 'Cause she's liable to grow up mean. A twisted little tale of hate and revenge.
Not a new fic, but not exactly an old fic. More like a transformed fic. Same beginning. Same ending. 75% more heart-breaking, soul-crushing middle. Fun! Fun! Fun!
For the amazing and supportive nightlocktime, who was always the biggest champion for the original Control.

Summary
Normal girls are supposed to have typical jobs and want nice guys. Nice, normal guys probably don't burn down community pools or live in luxury hotel suites.
But when you’re framed for murdering gang members, school buses mysteriously crash, and bodies wash up on shore with your name written on them, it's time to create your own definition of normal.
A Season 2 Fix-it fic.

Summary
He couldn't really blame them, he would have probably made the same assumptions were he in their shoes, but he was tired of being prejudged. “Look, I signed up for this shitshow, and I wouldn't have done it if I weren't prepared to get my hands a little dirty.”
“If you think this is getting your hands dirty, then you’re greener than I thought.” The agent paused, as if she were about to say something else, but then took a sip of wine instead. “I know why you were late tonight. You probably spent hours wandering around the city, maybe halfway down the bottle, wondering if you'd done the right thing today, questioning if you were still a good person?”
“Wrong. I was never a good person,” he said, a little too quickly, then drained the rest of his glass in one go. He refilled it with a shaky hand, the crimson wine sloshed over the lip of the goblet onto the white tablecloth beneath.
Her head tipped to the side as she stared at his face, expression unmoved. “Telling yourself that isn't going to make this job any easier, and it's definitely not going to make it true. You wouldn't be sitting here, if it were.”
