Summary
Shane is woken up in the middle of the night to news that he didn't know he had been waiting all his life to hear; his estranged grandfather is dead. He feels like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders, and that he can finally breathe for the first time in years. But this relief is short lived.
Despite a mutual hatred, his grandfather has left Shane everything in his will, including his personal slave; a male omega named Ilya.
Ilya's life with the elder Mr. Hollander was a living hell, and he doesn't expect much of an improvement with his grandson. Since presenting nearly a decade ago at the age of 17, the only constants in his life have been fear, pain, and never-ending hunger. So why should life with the now-retired hockey player be any departure from what he has come to accept as his lot in life?
Despite the fact that curiosity has only ever gotten Ilya into trouble, he can't help but wonder why Canada's golden boy never visited his own grandfather? And why would his former owner, who loved to see Ilya suffer, will him away to a man so endearing, and mild mannered that Ilya is struggling to not let his defences down? There has to be a catch, and Ilya is determined not to fall for such a trap.

Sighing he exits the page and keeps on scrolling. Nothing that is open catches his interest and the rest are closed. He's wondering how stale celery would taste dipped in pickle juice when his eyes land on Irina's Kitchen once more.
There's a phone number under the address. Shane bites his lower lip and wonders if he should call.
A woman with an accented voice picks up after the 5th ring.
“Hello?”
“Uh, hey, are you guys still open?”

Summary
Finally, something dawns on him, a way to handle two goals simultaneously. He’d seen Hollander’s mother flipping through papers rapidly when they first got here, seeming calm and in control and more than a little frightening in a way that made Ilya mildly glad he wasn’t one of the people responsible for a clipboard. If anyone can tell him if the long list of “Prohibited Items” he’d been sent in his email a few days ago is just standard practice for big shoots, it would be Yuna Hollander.
Or, hopefully, her son.
“Crazy we cannot even have peanut butter, eh?” He asks. “You also got giant list?”
Hollander stiffens, almost imperceptibly, and Ilya tilts his head, just slightly, confused, wondering if he’s stumbled somewhere unexpected.
