But basically I just want to see daryl as a dad, with a trail of kids behind him. So sort of a what if scenario

The winter has been long and hard, Carl’s down to his skin and bones—he really isn’t the man he pretends to be. Even so, hiding behind his mother's back won’t get him anywhere, yet when the men that call themselves ‘The Claimers’ show up and rip Carl away from what few things he knows, he just wishes he could crouch behind her, rest in her shade.

Mandy Dixon has done shit she isn’t proud of. Fought fights she shouldn’t have, gotten into bed with bad men, but she doesn’t live like that anymore. She’s a wife, a mother, a nurse, but sometimes you don’t have a choice.
On an unfortunate day Mandy is separated from her husband and his methhead brother, leaving her to fend for herself, and her children, alone, and when the situation to presents itself, a boy who is closer to home than she thinks.
