“What is it?” Chōsō asks, already walking toward where Yuuji’s stretched out on the floor.
“You ever used your cursed technique to make yourself, y’know”—Yuuji gestures vaguely dickward—“last?”
Chōsō nods firmly. “Reinforcement of the legs can aid with the speed and the strength of your—”
“No, not that,” Yuuji cuts in, throwing himself into a sitting position. “I meant your dick.”
“My dick,” Chōsō repeats, with the voice and face of a man who’s never said that word before.
But that’s ridiculous. Isn’t this guy like a hundred and fifty years old? That’s what he says, at least.
Then again, he was a shrunken fetus for a lot of that time. But was he always like that? He and the other two were stolen during the Goodwill Event—that was just a couple of months ago. Chōsō must have had this body for about as long.
It’s not a lot of time, come to think of it.
“Chōsō, have you…ever had sex?”
Yuuji’s curiosity about the less standard applications of Blood Manipulation leads him and Chōsō down an ill-trodden path.

“I’ve never done this before.” The words tumble out in a rush, Yuuji’s cheeks burning with embarrassment. “I’ve never — with anyone — I haven’t — ”
Something shifts in Choso’s expression, something Yuuji can’t quite read. His hands release Yuuji’s knees and slide up his thighs instead, settling on his hips with a grip that’s firm but not painful.
“I’ll take care of you,” Choso says, and his voice is softer now, almost gentle. He leans down, pressing his forehead to Yuuji’s, his breath warm against Yuuji’s lips. “I’ll take responsibility. For all of it.”
Yuuji’s chest constricts, his hands trembling where they press against Choso’s skin. “That’s not — I don’t want — ” He swallows hard, trying to find the words. “I only wanted to do this with someone I love. That’s what I always told myself. That it would be with someone I — ”
“Then I’ll make you love me.”
