“Who is that handsome man over there with Alfred?”
Matthew glanced over at the picnic table that he last saw Alfred at, and sure enough, he was still yammering on with a mystery man that he had yet to introduce to the rest of the family.
“His new boyfriend,” replied Matthew, wrestling with a burger over hot coals. Matthew had somehow become responsible for the grill, though with the way Francis was hovering over his shoulder, he doubted that post would be his for long.

Summary
In a world where finding one's soulmate is incredibly rare, Ludwig contents himself with his long standing relationship with Alfred and spares little thought to what-ifs and maybes. There are those who believe in waiting for one's soulmate, to put your life on hold until the one to make you true and whole walked into your life, but it's a silly fool's errand, in his opinion.
And then Ludwig runs into his soulmate. Literally.

Summary
“Tangerine?”
The abrupt pull away was upsetting, and Alfred couldn’t help a small whine. He squirmed slightly in Ludwig’s lap, his mind still too locked in pleasure to register Ludwig’s question. His lips remained open, still valiantly braced for their partner. He frowned when nothing happened, and opened his eyes just enough to stare at Ludwig with punch-drunk lust. “Huh?”
“You taste like tangerine.” Ludwig’s eyebrows were furrowed, his serious expression cute enough that Alfred could forgive the interruption for now.

Summary
Arthur pulled Alfred back, a small smile on his face. Alfred looked at him expectantly. “Hello, Alfred. Today, I shall teach you about mushrooms.” He emphasized his lesson plan with his foraging basket. He needed much more than mushrooms, but they should be enough to keep Alfred occupied. “Come along now, before it gets too late.”
