Summary
Mike Wheeler is always late, late for breakfast, late for classes, late for hangouts with the Party, hell, he was late for his own graduation (and look, he knows it’s a nasty habit, he has been trying to fix it, okay?) But he’s convinced there’s this supernatural force that makes it impossible for him to be on time, something always happening like his alarm clock breaking or him forgetting his backpack or, sue him, wanting an extra five minutes of sleep. It’s a defect of his character he tries to make up for by always showing up with extra snacks and an apologetic smile on his face. Most of the time it works, anyways. So, tardiness? A constant in his life, really. It should be no surprise then that he’s also late to realize his own feelings.
