“No!” Six cries out. She lunges away, trying to make for the edge of camp, but the Legion soldier is on her in a second, pinning her to the ground with his knee in her back. It knocks the wind from her, wheezing into the dirt. He yanks her arm behind her back, twisting it so painfully she cries out.
“Rubrius, Gallus,” the Centurion orders. “Deliver her straight to the Legate.”
Her breath hitches. “Don’t,” she says again. She doesn’t know who— or what— she’s pleading to.
Don’t recognize the name. If they recognize the name on her arm, it only means one thing.

Summary
Shortly after Boone had started traveling with the Courier, she introduced him to Arcade Gannon. He was smart and sarcastic and a bit of an asshole. Boone liked him, not that he’d ever admit it. It was also obvious that something bad had happened to him before they’d met. Boone had come up with several theories, but it wasn’t until the Courier dragged him to the Fort to talk with Caesar that he found out that the reality was much worse.

Adler doesn’t go back to Berlin to forget, but he isn’t so eager to remember, either. After leaving you for dead on that clifftop in the Arctic, he knows best to leave the past well alone. Too bad that past seems to be alive and walking right in front of him. Though where he wants to forget, it seems you’ve already beaten him to the punch.
