Wei Ying, science teacher at the Cloud Recesses Academy, has been assigned to work with Lan Zhan, music teacher at the Cloud Recesses Academy (and nephew of headmaster Lan Qiren), for the upcoming interhouse music competition. Since Wei Ying really likes Lan Zhan, it should be a great chance to spend time together, except for the part where Lan Zhan has kind of hated him since they were both students at the Academy themselves.
Meanwhile, YilingLaozu, one of the earliest and most popular fan artists in the fledgling fandom for the webnovel The Untamed, wants to pair up with HanguangJun, one of the earlier and most popular fan writers in the fandom, for the fandom's first ever Big Bang.
Even if Wei Ying will have an awkward time working with Lan Zhan, as YilingLaozi he can have a good time collaborating with HanguangJun. He'll take what he can get.
