Hyunjin cuts Seungmin off, "Ah, right! Never mind, okay, just go continue what you're doing, Seungminnie. Let me get our cat guy. You think he's logged in for the day, Channie hyung?"
"Cat… guy…?" Seungmin mumbles under his breath in confusion.
The shelter has another unofficial title floating around, after all. It belongs to the cat guy, Lee Minho.
Seungmin is the shelter's resident dog guy, and Minho is the cat guy. Simple! Naturally enough, they have a very (un)serious disagreement about which species is superior. What neither of them immediately realizes is that their back and forth, acting like cats and dogs is really just an excuse to keep finding their way back to each other.

Seungmin has always felt that HeartSync™ - the matchmaking AI service everybody uses - sucks. It’s supposed to match you with your ideal partner, but it feels random and surface level. Statistically, it makes sense that it creates appropriate matches from time to time; but he’s convinced that a good deal of people are pretending to be in love with their match, so many people opting to take the ‘fake it til you make it’ approach just because an algorithm told them to.
He decides to prove his theory by seeking a date with the person HeartSync™ says he has the least amount of chemistry with. On paper, he and Chan have nothing in common: they have different jobs, interests, attractions, but when Seungmin fixes his mind on something he doesn’t let go. He’s determined.
