When she told Cassie that she and Danny were dating, she had expected that lie to get her out of any potential questions or sneaking suspicions about monster hunting. And it had. It definitely had. But she kind of forgot she'd have to keep up with the lie. And that's how she found herself calling his burner phone past midnight on a Sunday night. Oh and the worst part, she was kinda, sorta intoxicated. A drink that tasted that strawberry lemonade shouldn't be allowed to have alcohol in it.
