Keonho is sitting at the end of the pier, legs slipping through the metal railings to dangle over the water. The stars illuminate him, and in the strange, gray-blue light that only early mornings bring, he looks almost otherworldly.
Seonghyeon walks over, the echoes of his footsteps on the hollow planks even louder in the dead silence of night. Keonho looks up, and it’s almost comical how quickly his face brightens.
“You came.”
“Yeah, well, I said I would, didn’t I?” Seonghyeon scoffs.
“You say a lot of things. You don’t always mean them,” Keonho shrugs.
“You’re rude,” he mutters, mostly because he can’t really argue.
“I’m right,” Keonho corrects.
“Whatever.”

“Why?” the stranger bats his long lashes at him as he tilts his head. “You're my master–”
“Hyung,” he corrects, very much aware that he's been seconds away from losing control and raising his voice. “Just... Just stick to hyung,”
When the boy offers him his brightest, biggest smile, shouting an enthusiastic “Alright, hyung!”, Seonghyeon knows it's about to be a long day.
