Summary
Rio Vidal, the Goddess of Death, has been tasked with hunting down Agatha Harkness, the infamous witch-killer. Upon meeting Agatha and her son, however, she cannot get herself to harm either of them. When Rio shows up again later, she offers Agatha a deal that would spare Nicky's life. As their adventure progresses, Rio finds it more and more difficult to stay away from the woman she is destined to kill.

"So Woods, do we have a deal?", Clarke looked at her expectantly.
Lexa stared at her, still increduolus. The cheerleader, who never once spoke to her before, was now asking her to be her fake girlfriend in order to make their cheating exes jealous. All of it, after the whole school got aware of her existence because she gave them the free show of punching Collins in the cafeteria. Just when she thought her life couldn't be more messed up.
"Do you really want him back?", she asked instead.
"My reasons are my own. Do you really want her back?". Determined blue eyes were fixed on Lexa's face.
"Do you really think anyone's going to believe that me and you can stand each other, let alone date?"
Clarke extended her hand: "There's just one way to find out".

Clarke studies the girl who stopped the fight before it began. Leaning back in her chair in the back of the bar, she's all dark hair and dark eyeliner and dark alcohol. Clarke can see what he’s saying: the glare etched into her face is a clear warning for anyone who might step forward to her.
But the vodka has thinned Clarke’s blood; she’s always been brazen and right now she can’t take that warning as anything less than a challenge.
She grabs Octavia’s wrist and pulls her forward. “C’mon.”
