Summary
Marcus grabbed Sejanus’ arms roughly, and the prince let out a pained gasp as Marcus inspected his hands. “Why? What were you thinking?”
“I had to get the blood off,” was all Sejanus could say, his voice teary and desperate. He looked everywhere but Marcus, who was nervously trying to search Sejanus’ eyes for some kind of answer.
Marcus went still at that. “What blood?” He asked.

Summary
“Sejanus, listen to me. I need you, all of you, here for this,” she begged, her hands finding their way to his shoulders, “You can’t go away, I know how you get sometimes, we can’t have that tonight, okay?”
He nodded, unable to find the words to ask why she was telling him this, before she opened the door and pulled him in.
There, on the table in front of him, Marcus.
OR
Marcus escapes during the rebel bombings and is never found. The games continue, and life goes on as usual. That is until six months after the games, where Marcus is found in the woods near Twelve close to death.

Summary
Turning her gaze to the other man, she noticed the blue peacekeeper fatigues, the shirt had been unbuttoned completely, leaving the white tank top underneath visible. She locked eyes with a pair similar in color to her own, and recognized the fear in them as she took in the figure in front of her.
“Sejanus?” She said, her voice a little too loud for her own good.
The miner turned to look at the peacekeeper.
“You know her? She’s not your girl is she?” He asked, his voice edging on frantic.
She barked out a laugh, and quickly covered her mouth with her hands when Sejanus shot her a panicked look.
“No! She’s a friend of mine, honest to god.” Sejanus explained, and Lucy Gray felt a half smile form on her lips.

Summary
“Hey soldier,” she said, “‘you seen Coriolanus?”
Sejanus shook his head.
“He stepped out during your last song, haven’t seen ‘em since.”
He thought that would be the end of their conversation, but all it did was elicit a small frown and a shrug from the girl.
“Shame, guess you’ll have to keep me company till he gets back,” she said sweetly, sliding into the seat across from him.
(Lucy Gray goes searching for Coriolanus after her show and finds Sejanus instead. They talk, and Sejanus learns a thing or two about the girl, as well as his best friend.)

Summary
“I haven’t found my partner either actually, are you perhaps looking for Clyde?”
Oh my god. It actually happened. Dylan thanks every god he can think of in his head as he holds up his slip of paper for the other boy to read.
“Well, hello to you Clyde, I gotta be honest here I am incredibly relieved that I got you and not one of the campers.”
Miraculously, Dylan and Ryan are each others dates for the Hacketts Quarry Summer Camp couples dinner. Things don't go exactly as planned.
