Summary
I wanted to write a slow burn byler fic because most of the byler fanfic creations are slowing down and i had a good idea for one.
Pretty much, if you don't want complete surprise on what your reading, let me explain a few things. The year is 1995 and Mike becomes a police officer and hopper takes him under his wing. Will has completely changed states and now lives back in Lenora. He found a few friends, Casper & Dylan, the three of them share a small apartment together. They also explore abandoned building for fun. For the 4th of July, he comes home, bringing his friends along. This leads him to the Benny's Burgers that was shutdown 12 years prior. It has become THE party house for teenagers. furthermore, the police often catch criminals there, graffitiing or throwing parties.
This fic has been written by a young author, that being said, please ignore any spelling or grammar mistakes. Also, yes I chose the 4th of July specifically because it's almost the fourth of July.

He felt the cold metal on the side of his head. He tightens, standing up straighter. He clutches his fists, knowing who had the gun. And how this man he used to call his dad, has a gun pointed at his skull.
"IF YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT BEING GAY I WILL SHOOT YOU IN THE HEAD" His father howled at the top of his lungs. "i'm not having no f@***t as my son.."
The man walks away slowly leaving his son frozen in place.
The tears in Will's eyes sting and are blurring his vision but he won't let them fall.
