Summary
Chief Charlie Swan volunteers for a midnight search in the rain and finds a child in the arms of a blood-soaked Dr. Cullen. Carlisle swears the blood isn’t the boy’s, and Charlie, who has spent twenty years reading liars, can’t tell whether he’s lying or just hiding something.
What starts as a stubborn cop and a very careful doctor circling each other turns into baseball, bad coffee, a hand held in the dark, and a secret too big to keep. There’s a pack watching the treaty line, a vampire out of Carlisle’s past laying a table in the woods, and something older behind the wolves that has been waiting a very long time to be asked what it wants.
Carlisle has spent three centuries refusing to be a monster. Charlie is a patient guy. Neither of them is prepared for what it costs to stay.
Slow burn, hurt/comfort, found family, and a lot of grilled cheese.

Summary
There are men turning up dead in the woods, and Chief of Police Charlie Swan has a job to do—figure out what, or who, left the poor bastards torn up as they are. Chief of Police Charlie Swan is too old for this mess. Too old and too sick of this shit to pretend Forks is just a sleepy old rural town anymore. Between the gruesome corpses and the quiet, unsettling doctor Cullen who shows up like a statue in pressed slacks, lying through his teeth, Charlie’s got more questions than answers—and no one seems too keen on giving him either.
Charlie’s trying not to notice how his breath catches when the doc gets too close. He’s also trying not to notice how the bodies keep piling up, unsolved. Neither effort is going particularly well.
And if one more person tells him it was a bear, he’s going to shoot something. Probably not a bear.

Summary
CURRENTLY RE-UPLOADING, MY CLOUD SCRAMBLED ALL MY CHAPTER CONFIGURATIONS AND BLENDED THEM TOGETHER, I'M SO SORRY .·°՞(っ-ᯅ-ς)՞°·.
The story of a young woman who finds her style, self worth, and strength through the power of friendship, freedom, and true love.
It's 2010. 19 year old Alice Anderson is living in the Chicago suburbs. She has a teenage dream of sex, drugs, romance, and fame. Rebellion is a fantasy that corrupts her every waking hour, and her love of pop punk music only fuels it - but it's a life that'll only come to fruition if she abandons the strict religious upbringing of her Christian household, and takes a chance on her new Punkstar neighbors across the street.
Harlow Silver is the 21 year old drummer for an underground scene/punk band. Him and his band-mates move from their trashy New York City apartment to a quiet house in Chicago to escape his grim, horrific past, while also seeking out answers only Chicago could give him. But when he moves in across the street from a prudish, annoying, religious girl looking to bust out from her protective shell, he's forced to face his fears and break through the binds of his trauma.
And maybe, sort of, love again.

Summary
Alfred stares at him. It’s in the same way he does when Bruce has not taken off the suit in three days. Bruce doesn’t think this is at all warranting that level of judgement or concern.
“Oh?” Alfred says, after a good ten seconds. “May I enquire why, sir?”
“B’s being a petty bitch,” Dick informs him, appearing behind Bruce’s legs.
“Language,” Bruce says on instinct. “There’s a baking sale. And Dick’s stall will win.”
“I did not realise bake sales were a competitive sport,” Alfred says.
“Tell that to Candace Pearson-Scott,” Bruce says.

as a wise man once said, if you don't think Bruce Wayne's greatest nemesis isn't the Joker, but the fakest housewife in the Batkids PTA chapter, I don't know what to tell you.
