Wrench is a borderline-defective Worker Drone, created not just by fusing the code of his parents, but by feasting on one of the oldest human brain scans. As a result, he's uncomfortable in his own robot body, seen as a weirdo by his peers, and has a perspective on their situation nearly as unique as one Uzi Doorman's.
But he doesn't want to go out and fight the Murder Drones just to prove his own self worth.
He just wants to fly.
