Summary
As the full moon rises above the horizon of the Monongahela national forest treeline, the needles of the evergreens shimmer. The sky is clear for the first time in a week, the snowfall finally residing, allowing the fresh laid snow to reflect the light; the forest last fully lit.
The air is quiet, save for the rustle of the pine trees as a light breeze blows through them.
However, a towering figure moves through the night, unnatural and with no rhythm. Heavy footfalls crunch into the inches of powdery snow, and as it pulls out, it trails white dust in its wake.

Summary
Deceit and Remus are fed up with being seen as the bad guys. They have important and valuable contributions to make to Thomas’s life, too. With the reluctant aid of Remy, they craft one whopper of a nightmare, carefully tailored to each of the sides.
